Where we work

We are mainly working in the Kamarata Valley, an area part of the Bolívar state in the south east of Venezuela, in an area within the Pemón People’s Land and the Canaima National Park.

Canaima National Park was officially determined as such in 1962 within the Pemón People’s territory, which dates back to the origins of this etnia thousands of years ago.

The Sector II is called by the indigenous Kamarata-Kanaimö, it has 18 communities of which 12 are to the south east of the Auyántepui, and the population is 3,151 inhabitants (census 2019).
